The Rochtang Pass itself is open and closed to traffic passing from Manali to Leh depending on the weather and how many stuck vehicles they need to extract from the mud to re-open a lane through. Maybe pottering along on an Enfield it would be, but I think my 'Mecca' motorbike rides will still be in the Alps where they actually give kplem shit about the roads, unlike here in India where road surface does not seem to be a necessity, despite the volume of traffic or the revenue from tourists visiting the area.
